Kenny is the fabulous chef at The Boathouse at Front Street Village. He is a Carteret County native and grew up learning to cook by both of his grandmothers. He has been cooking since the ripe age of 15.He began his culinary career working under chef Joe Loughry and has perfected his skills while working for great restaurants across the county.
He enjoys cooking and working with his hands. In his spare, time he coaches youth league football and recreation basketball. Kenny has three children, Dontarius, Malik, and Tyshauna Collins and three step-children, Sheldon, Jaylon and Donovan. He shares his life with his supportive girlfriend, Trisha.

The Cooking With The Chefs Tent will be located at the corner of 4th and Evans Street, and will be open on Saturday, October 1st and Sunday, October 2nd.
