SHRIMP AND GRITS

GRITS
1 QT Milk
1 QT Chicken Stock
1 ¾ cups Grits
1 LB Cheddar Cheese

Combine milk and chicken stock and bring to a slow boil. Then add the grits.
After the grits are done, add the cheese and set aside on warm stove setting.

SHRIMP SAUTÉ

2 tbsp. Bacon Grease
1 oz diced onion
1 oz diced peppers
1 oz diced cooked bacon
1 oz sliced mushrooms
5 oz raw peeled shrimp
2 shakes Tabasco
1 tbsp lemon juice

Start with the bacon grease add all the veggies and cook for about 1 min. Then add the shrimp and cook until they start to turn red and add remaining ingredients. Serve over the grits.
